Liv Grete Skjelbreid Poirée  is a former career biathlete. 167 cm (5 ft 6 in), 61 kg (134 lb; 9 st 8 lb) from Norway. On 20 March 2006, Poirée announced her retirement, effective at the end of the season which ended on 26 March at the Holmenkollen. She said she was retiring because of her young daughter, Emma, her family and that she did not have the motivation to continue.
